Former Tweeter now hiding from the fire. Been known to like 🐎 🏍 🚗 racing. Recently joined the ALP and based in Meeanjin Land (always was always will be) while I agree with many left leaning policies I would say I'm a moderate.
Prof Christina PagelI think for me to abandon Twitter entirely, I'd need more official media orgs (e..g Sky, BBC, CNN) on here, more journalists because I get a lot of my news from Twitter (esp breaking news).
Also more official bodies (e.g. UKHSA, ONS) so I can see when new official research & stats are released on e.g. Covid, the economy, etc.
And finally academic journals (e.g. BMJ, Lancet, NEJM) who I rely on for latest health research!
Will they come?

@LL good to find you over here LL, seems Twitter is going into meltdown, makes me a little sad as I joined Twitter in 2008. Anyway..onwards and upwards
I must admit to not being very technical. I know I've been told I can find followers, sorry former 🐦 followers with debirdefy but I've struggle to use it or I'm using it wrong. So I look for big name accounts I do know and check their followers and see if I remember them from 🐦 land.. the process is slow but then I don't think I had that many followers anyway...
Ok so I need to find people again...
