I’m looking for a notetaking program. iOS or MacOS, preferably both and synced. I want to create discrete notes for each person and project, inside of which I can add to do/check marked items. I want to be able to sweep all the done/undone to do items from all or some scoped set of notes into a single view, organized by the note from which they came. Does this app exist?

Hi #metatext folks! why is the expand preferences > media setting grayed out and locked to “hide sensitive” for me? In my mastodon web app settings I am set to “always show.”any ideas? Ty!

I am unskilled drinking coffee from a travel mug. I either get a mouth of nothing, or my gaping maw is filled to the brim with molten lava, so my only choices are 1) burn my mouth, 2) burn my esophagus, or 3) spit coffee. I :never: spit. #ouch #dumb

Ok so my current mental model is “The #Fediverse” is a singular largeish group of connected mastos plus other stuff that speaks a similar protocol? So if I accidentally toot a public dick pic, The Whole Ass Single Fediverse might see it. ✔️

#mastodon question. “The fediverse” = what? Some clique of mastodon servers to which the server I’m on is connected, and there are multiple fediverses? Or is it THE FEDIVERSE (singular), as in all mastodons what have decided to federate? Ty for splaining!

In brief: have fun, be kind. Don't engage in racism, transphobia, homophobia, and so on.

Our content-warning policy is more liberal than some other fediverse instances. In general, if you'd see it in a leather bar or on the sidewalk, it doesn't need a CW here. Boobs, butts, impact, bondage, etc. are A-OK. If you'd take it to the darkroom, it probably needs a CW. Genitals, hole, fucking, fisting, scat, blood, and so on: kindly use a content warning or sensitive-media flag.
