While I don't fault the judge either way, if he is thinking the most likely sentence is probation (let's all remember that this would not be outside any norm), sentencing him before the election would let Trump claim (once again) that the case was worthless.

@kamalaharrisforpresidentnews Remember, Texas and Florida also have Senate races that COULD BE competitive with only a minor shift. Even if the Harris campaign doesn't think it can win those States, I think there's good reason to invest since Senate control for 2025-2026 is on a knife's edge.

@Nonilex California's bar exam has a notoriously low pass rate. It is not a mark against anyone not to pass it the first time.
