I've been looking for a new case for a while and finally settled on the Magnum Opus from Galen leather. Now that the pens are in a proper case and not stored in their individual boxes I should be able to sketch more.

Yesterday was a new paper day and to celebrate I got all of my currently inked pens out to test it with anime eye doodles. I can safely say I have fallen in love with this paper for sketches as it shows sheen up incredibly well and did not bleed at all. There's not much ghosting either.

Paper is an A5 blank notebook from The Inked Paw.

Done for fountain pen challenge prompts over on the UK Fountain Pen Group (Facebook); What are your brown ink recomendations?

The first 1- 4 are in descending preference order. Everythings else is pretty much tied in fith place.

Kaweco AL Sport Olivine BB with Diamine X Cult Pens The Great Wall of China ink. (Their colours match so, so well).

I would have chosen a brown ink but I gotta empty the AL Sport and put a stub nib on it when the nib arrives soon. Also it feels about as earthy as some browns so I'm adding it in an honourary position.
