Like, how does math describe space time? Gravity? I can drop something & watch it fall but how does a math equation describe that?

My mind doesn’t get how math can describe the universe at ALL…
But yes, the universe & how it came to be
Much easier to figure out if you are not an atheist who believes in all that sciencey stuff
