External keyboard and terminal on my e-reader to SSH into a Raspberry Pi running Emacs to take notes! Perhaps not very convenient for serious writing, but it makes for some excellent Friday-night nerdery.

Mastodon-tip that I'd have loved to have received myself when I first got here: enable the 'Advanced web interface' (Preferences > Appearance) for a column view. Each column can then show something else: the home feed, lists, tags, etc. #mastodon #mastodonmigration
