the book is super dense with references and vs audio it's way more disruptive if you don't get them right away...but damn if this isn't the perfect companion for tobacco, alcohol, and angry leftists. Still working on it but my review is: "this book made me mad as hell and you should read it"

Got those Bose active noise cancelling earbuds yesterday and haven't been able to stop using them. The ability to create a tiny silent sanctuary at will made me notice the constant ambient infernal drone I live with everyday. A nice pair of IEMs would have sounded better, but they wouldn't have given me the superpower of silence. Also hearing voices through the ANC is the most cyberpunk shit ever
