Co-created our kid. Libertarianism is bunk. Law and environmental. Good governance in a democracy is hard work. With great power comes great responsibility.

I don't have any followers here, but:

Here's a story from me today about the state-of-play at Texas' three unionized newspapers -- with the big news being that the Fort Worth NewsGuild has ratified the only union contract at a Texas newspaper, following a 24-day labor strike: https://www.texasobserver.org/striking-does-work-fort-worth-journalists-win-only-newspaper-union-contract-in-texas/

‘Striking Does Work’: Fort Worth Journalists Win Only Newspaper Union Contract in Texas

NewsGuild workers at papers in Dallas and Austin are still bargaining.

I feel late to the game but really want to check out this QAnon thing everyone’s talking about. Are they still enrolling?

Andy Ngo has been trying desperately to silence my reporting on his record of lies and thuggish legal threats against his critics.

In Sept 2021, Andy Ngo's lawyers threatened me with legal action for exposing his lies. @Popehat replied to their frivolous and baseless legal threats on my behalf in the now famous "oily poutine" letter. https://www.techdirt.com/2021/10/01/ken-popehat-white-again-shows-how-to-respond-to-completely-thuggish-legal-threat-letter/

Hen Harrier.

From earlier in the week, when I watched this female hunting over some marshy land near the shore, here on Mull.

Taken with a Canon R7 and this time I used DxO Pure Raw 2 to remove the noise, and I think it's generated a nicer image than Topaz.

Anyway, that's for the PP geeks out there, the rest of you can enjoy the harrier...

This is good news for the GOP, who will almost certainly nominate George Santos for this seat. Given Santos’s deep ties to Michigan—he was a founding member of both MC5 and The Stooges, ghost wrote many of Eminem’s early hits (before they had a difficult falling out), and has been an indispensable assistant to Tom Izzo for decades—there’s no way the people of Michigan would reject their favorite son.

The dwarf planet Eris was discovered by astronomers Mike Brown, Chad Trujillo, and David Rabinowitz #OTD in 2005. It appeared in data that had been collected much earlier, on October 21st, 2003.

There it is, the tiny moving dot on the left of the gif.
