I legit just had this transaction:

Me: yeh.
Him: Not many blacks in Scotland?
Me: No, not really, that's a weird thing to say
Him: I guess you hate them just as much as I do.
Me: what?

at that point, I managed to remove myself from the conversation but what should have been the right course of action? is removing myself a good thing? should I have challenged further?
