Last week, I finally started watching the Indiana Jones movies again (something I've been wanting to do ever since DOS Game Club covered Fate of Atlantis). I never realized how much the game took from the movies. I also finally resumed the Last Crusade adventure game last night -- I had been looking forward to this...
After about month, I've managed to lose four pounds (~1.8 kg) and reduce my body-fat readings by a percent. I was afraid my efforts hadn't been effective, but maybe I underestimated the progress I made...
@croissant lol yeah remember when we nearly killed the flu? The thing that's been around for longer than any of us? And we did it in a month or so with a measure not even intended to target the flu?
That was brilliant, and I kinda hate everyone for not lasting that little bit longer.
Finally got back into exercise after continuously making excuses to skip it for so long -- it's nice to play dance games again. I hope I can shed all of my excess fat...
After going without lifting weights for so long, I was afraid I might not be able to military press 45-lb. (~20.4-kg) dumbbells anymore, but I lifted them relatively easily surprisingly. I wonder if moving my microwave everyday has helped a bit...

I wonder if changes in bowel habits could make that much difference..... or if that could be largely machine error (I've had that scale since 2003)...
So, I checked my Tanita body-fat scale for the first time in months (I thought I last checked around February or March, but the spreadsheet I keep didn't have anything since December). Apparently, going almost nine months with next to no exercise has resulted in me gaining about 13.5 lbs. (~6 kg), and going from 14% or 17% (male adult vs. child settings) to 18% or 21%. I don't even eat sweets, I just get fat that easily although I suspect cutting back so much in the past has tricked my body into a lower calorie requirement D: I wonder if eating 10 tsp. of steel cut oats instead of 18 tsp. will help...
