We may have figured out roman concrete!!
I don't know if that's as exciting for you as for me, but Roman concrete is significantly more durable than modern varieties. It is actually SELF healing! I really hope you do a citation needed on it.
Please? It would make me very happy and, since it's history probably involves the Etruscans, be fun to listen to.
The Mystery Finally Solved: Why Has Roman Concrete Been So Durable?

Image by Benjaminec, via Wikimedia Commons Rome may not have been built in a day, but it was built to last — or at least its concrete was, given that the pieces of the Roman Empire that have stood to our time, in one form or another, tend to have been built with it.

@lupus_blackfur @piatpod Tate definitely makes sense, they have a similar grasp on the english language.
@piatpod is it just me, or does the edited Mary look like she's twelve?
@piatpod you should do an episode on Roald Dahl, the author of Charlie and the Chocolate factory, he was an RAF pilot in WWII and possibly gay (I can't prove it, but in his memoirs he mentions a series of male friends he was VERY close too)
@georgetakei Andrew Tate is also a human trafficker who left the UK because he couldn't bribe their cops.
@elibosnick who's James Earl Ray?
@georgetakei Elon is almost certainly an anti-semite, even if he doesn't say it out loud, you can almost hear him thinking nazi propaganda.
@piatpod I might actually buy that, it's pretty metal
