@zarfeblong I found the Penric and Desdemona audiobooks on Hoopla years ago and got hooked immediately. I'm surprised how little I hear people talking about it
@cstross My Bubbie had a cat who lined up the mice heads in the basement.

Out of context thing I said today:

"If I sense a Tommy coming, I'll flip my hair over my shoulder to get it out of the way."

@joshmillard I'm surprised they haven't started selling them as an actual brand as a movie tie-in.
@superlinguo I constantly find myself thinking about the analogy you made between gestures and emoji in Because Internet and on @lingthusiasm
@zarfeblong Unless it's something I use all the time, I only let myself keep three of each. If I haven't used it in several years, I only keep one

Happy Mole Day everyone!

Mole Day is held every 10/23, in honor of Avogadro's number 6.02×10²³, which is really just a big chemistry retcon to make the old loosey-goosey units actually consistent.

The traditional food of Mole Day is guacamole, made with fresh avogados.

Does anyone else find typesetting things in LaTeX relaxing?
@jessamyn Although with them all starting "pin-", it kinda feels like cheating.
