Small interview study looks into why many immigrants to Sweden don't vote in general elections. One common reply was "I don't know enough about Swedish politics to make an informed choice."

That's admirable, but you know what? NO SUCH CONSIDERATIONS ARE STOPPING EQUALLY IGNORANT PEOPLE FROM VOTING FOR THE FASCISTS WHO WANT TO KICK YOU OUT.

Organising a student workshop with very good speakers. More than 70 people are signed up, but less than half of that bother to show up.
I guess they feel that since it was free of charge they don’t lose anything by skipping, but it’s really a poor take.

Tydligen har man utsett det polska bidraget till Eurovision - The Tower av Luna.
200 bidrag hade skickats in innan deadline 2 feb. En jury på fem personer röstade om vilket bidrag som vann.

Very sad to have learned that Allen Bard passed away this weekend. Bard was a pioneer in many, many fields of electrochemistry such as scanning electrochemical microscopy, electrochemiluminescence and more. And of course, he wrote the bible of electrochemistry.
