It looks like your start date gets reset. Your old posts remain on the original server but looks like you can't view from the new account, I imagine they remain available in searches and other people's timelines. Your followers get diverted automatically but you need to re-import people you follow.

I'm in the process of experimenting with a screencastsonline.social instance for my members, hence the interest.

The instructions I followed to change Mastodon instances are these: https://nerdschalk.com/change-or-switch-servers-on-mastodon-step-by-step-guide/ They're a bit long-winded, but most of the instructions I found were too brief and were often unclear about whether you were performing the action on the instance you were moving from or the instance you were moving to.

@jhlaufer Direct connection not supported. Universal control will allow for iMac Proto act as screen extension but at low Res. Not been able to get Mouse and keyboard linking working.
