Interesting result: 40 percent of MRI signals do not correspond to actual brain activity.

esp. interesting for fNIRS, since it basically discredits any application of it for brain activity measure?

40 percent of MRI signals misinterpreted

Interpretation of numerous MRI data may be incorrect: blood flow is not a reliable indicator of brain activity.

@gutenberg_org thanks, i just wanted to report the issue and wasn't aware of the whole problem 😅
cheers and have a nice day!
@gutenberg_org you are right, it seems to be a locale issue - not sure how and if i can fix it on my side though: https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2000/00164-serbian.pdf
has a example and explanation which is not really helpful. Does epub have a <locl> tag?
@gutenberg_org i do agree that it might be a display issue since unicode doesn't know which script it italizes (?) - then again it's mostly a matter of missing over- or underlines. the same issue is visible on the wikipedia page on cyrillic script / italic and cursive forms.
@gutenberg_org it's not quite the same, at least the scene notes aren't in cursive
@gutenberg_org somewhat fluent - I am reading it for exercise though. Also I'm referencing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serbian_Cyrillic_alphabet
specifically the section modern alphabet.

has cursive scene notes that aren't in serbian cyrillic cursive - at least in the epub on mupdf.

@rbreich that would imply they actually compete - esp. in developmentally stagnating fields this is not true
