@Dondy Cursive appearance: The cursive or handwritten look of Serbian letters is a matter of typography and is handled by using a specific font that provides those stylistic variations. Unicode defines the characters themselves, while fonts provide the different visual styles, such as cursive or block lettering.

@gutenberg_org you are right, it seems to be a locale issue - not sure how and if i can fix it on my side though: https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2000/00164-serbian.pdf
has a example and explanation which is not really helpful. Does epub have a <locl> tag?

@Dondy The epub version generated by TIA does not have a <locl> tag. Howerver it states that "The text on this page is estimated to be only 20.33% accurate" which is not good enough. Our epub version doesn´t have this tag either.
