So... on Techdirt we've written a bunch of stories lately about DoNotPay, and how its claims seem, well, exaggerated. We have @kathryntewson to thank for much of that.
However, all the way back in 2017 @Colarusso had actually talked to us about running his own analysis of how DoNotPay's claims regarding parking tickets didn't seem to add up.
We ended up not running it. Until now. Here's the story we should have run back in 2017.
