Well, I got my FW16 thermal pad, but no keyboard pads, again.
So I guess I'm just not getting those.
“Social media” doesn’t feel so social anymore. It’s a lot of people building “brands” or whatever to get by, sure you do you, or people looking to cultivate groups of people that all think similarly, which isn’t always bad but sometimes goes awry, and just generally divests from my idea of a social space.
It’s filling voids that it was never meant to do, and consequently becoming chaotic and misleading. L
Bsky gets a paid tier

This goes against most stuff I was taught about persuasion and politics in a somewhat democratic area.
Given the current situation, I’m pretty confident a lot of it was wrong. I always felt insane for this, that they were just going down a hopeless path with no goals.
Now I know I’m not insane, they were just hopelessly aloof.
Honestly, I think people just make their minds up and stick to that.
You cannot persuade them. All you can do is attract people who support you and your mindset on a topic.
You can help them access information, and that will perhaps, help them think.
But conversational persuasion is just not a long lasting strategy. There are reasons they are the way they are, the way you are.
If those are not addressed, it is pointless.
It’s amazing the amount of normies that think apple saying they won’t add an intentional back door is bad.
Let alone, everything else.
I do not think most people understand encryption.
(I’m not also saying I believe/trust/etc apple but that’s a whole other thing).
