Still playing Wordle (and other games)
I mostly hover here

Yesterday I watched the video of my niece, an AF LtCol, accept command of a rather large squadron at a major base. I am one proud aunt.

And that's why I'm egalitarian.

One of the lenses popped out of my glasses and there's no way I will find the tiny screw that was holding it in place. So I'm wearing an older pair and they're giving me a headache 😭
I've a thought. What if we just "spring forward" 30 minutes and then leave the time alone? Split the difference and be done with it.

What?? Woo hoo!

Almost 2 yrs ago I began an experiment of preserving farm fresh eggs in lime (called water glassing). On Sunday we ate the last of those eggs. My experience:

2 yrs is probably pushing the preservation time.

Eggs are edible though the whites are more watery and the yolks break down. Good for scrambled eggs or baking.

Will do again

Had to parallel park for the first time in years... maybe decades. Pleased to report not only did I get it on the first try, the spacing between cars and curb was about as perfect as it could get.

I looked at the sofa arm rest in time to see a spider preparing to crawl on my arm. With the reflexes of a ninja I screamed and swiped that spider to the floor. I then searched the carpet until I found the offending arachnid and disposed of it.

Decided to vacuum in the event he had family. I bumped the side table with the vacuum thereby knocking a can of Pepsi and a full quart-sized mug of water onto carpet.

So, how's your day going?
