Anti-Trump protesters show up at Orlando's Lake Eola for Mother's Day

On Mother's Day the 11th of May, protesters oposing Donald Trump and Fascism showed up at Orlando's Lake Eola Park. Bike cops hung out almost out of sight in the park but presumably oriented on the protest.

One protester's sign protrayed a guillotine, another called out Hegseth's ACTUAL gang tattoos in contrast to transgender troops being booted out of the US military. Unlike Hegseth's gang tattoos (an "offense" others have been sent to CECOT for), trans troops do not threaten anything in the military save Trump's anti-constittutional auto-coup ambitions.

5/1 Lakeland FL May Day event Freedom Park. MAGAt shows up & asks us to stop reading the Bible. We were nonpartisan, pro-worker, pro-Constitution, & family-friendly. We did a May Pole dance. We had a Catholic speaker discussing what Catholic religion says about workers & unions. Teachings that don't get talk about as much. Bible passages commanding employers to honor human dignity. PD did nothing to stop MAGAt, who later caused an arrest. PD could have nipped this in the bud here, at the start

Watch #Lakeland #mayday crowd pray away the #maga troll. Volume ☝️ This speaker had given a speech on traditional #Catholic values in regards to the dignity of #workers reading several passages of #scripture and quotes from Pope Benedict 16th and focusing on #Floridian working-class issues. But when she went to read the final, closing Bible passage, the MAGAt interrupted and refused to let the speaker read the Bible in a public park. So instead we wrapped up the speech with a #prayer .
