Last weekend I drove to Boone NC and then Galax VA along the blue ridge parkway for the old time fiddler's convention.
This sign about Tom Dula(Dooley) was on the way at a parkway overlook.
I was a bit familiar with the story and history.

I'm not built for cold. The blast that is incoming has sent me to Florida for my yearly GD cover band tour.
Last night in Ormond Beach I saw 'Cosmic Jam'. They were loud, which I like.
The venue was blues brews bistro. Good sound.
Next up, Tuesday in Boca for 'Crazy Fingers' at the funky biscuit.
I have 4 totes full of CDs that I pulled out of storage.
I'm going to try listening through the lot.
