#Oracle has been delaying the release of Oracle23 on-prem for so long, they now just changed the name of the product (which was already available in their cloud) to Oracle 26.

It would indeed look very bad if you release Oracle23 on-prem in 2026. But I think this renaming looks even worse.

Everybody just switch to #Postgres if possible. They actually have a yearly release schedule which they keep.
