The hill repeat workout on the schedule sounded awful so I did 7 miles alone while the rest of the group crushed it
My workout partner wasn’t into it this morning. 7 mile run around the neighborhood, 30 minute upper body class, and 10 minutes of core.
Slacker Half Marathon. There is a significant amount of downhill on this course but this is still waaay faster than I expected #Running
Active Recovery day: 15 minute Hip Mobility class, 50 minutes on the bike, and then a 20 minute Pilates class. #peloton should make the “More Music” setting global, not something I need to set every class.
Groin pain came roaring back yesterday so I just ran easy while everyone else did the workout. It seems the 2 days of being mostly sedentary was the culprit. #Running
Remedial long run from yesterday, 12 miles. I felt like I was on the struggle bus on the outbound/uphill half but some surprising splits on the downhill.
I took the day off and decided to run a little later hoping the trails would dry out….I’d say 95% of this loop is clear but that other 5% is a muddy/boggy mess. #Running
Today’s workout: 10x90 second hill repeats, the recovery is the jog back to the bottom. I felt I got a decent workout out in but Garmin is back on its bullshit #Running
Trail was a little messy and a couple spots you can’t go around the puddles so you have to just go through #Running Followed up with a 20 minute Pilates class and a 30 minute #peloton EDM-edu ride with Jess King
Hills are where the extra weight I’m carrying really make’s itself known. Today’s workout was 20 minutes uphill, the nice thing about our workouts being time-based is that everyone finishes together #Running
