@bisby @BrodieOnLinux it seems like gtk supporting hiding decorations at a toolkit level would be the best approach, then it could just be easily disabled on anything that uses ssd.

@jokeyrhyme @BrodieOnLinux yeah, my main issues with GNOME are about the unwillingness the project sometimes has to work with other desktops.

Like, it's not for me but I can see why some people like it. Stuff like this just forces everyone to work around them instead of implementing basic features that would save everyone elses time.

@Snowshadow @skykiss the part in question
@Snowshadow @skykiss There's longer footage, the lights on the ship went out and came back on a bit before the crash. It seems like the zhip lost power and by the time it came back it was too late to avoid the bridge.
@Tergenev @depereo @skykiss business insider says it's up to 20 now, probably dont have a great count. Thank god it was in the middle of the night.
@BrodieOnLinux okay, now I want this though
@writeblankspace @taylorlorenz Yeah, I'm really surprised by that, I wonder what's behind it
@eshep @BrodieOnLinux They do, but plasma's added the ability to set up custom tiling zones that windows will snap to if you hold shift when dragging them. You can't set kwin rules to open in one of those.
@BrodieOnLinux yeah, that would br a huge improvement. I feel like it's so close to being good, just held back by a few issues.
@gloopsies @BrodieOnLinux Yeah, discord will probably get around to it a decade or so after every major distro has stopped shipping x11. I just use obs to screenshare but it would be nice if it worked without anything else.
