Privacy is a marathon, not a sprint.

It's common to be overwhelmed by the constant attacks on privacy we read about every day, and to burn out trying to fix every problem all at once.

This is by the attackers' design, of course. Big tech companies and governments want to paralyze you with choices and actions, so you give up on the fight entirely.

It's okay to take a breath, clean up slowly, and train yourself over the long-term to improve your data privacy health over time.

It makes me feel more than a little weird that my first reaction to the current Starlink outage is "Oh no did they crash before I could publish my paper about Starlink crashing?!"

Academia messes with your head.

Really, though, I sincerely hope they didn't start crashing and that the outage happening now is not compromising their ability to conduct collision avoidance maneuvers! In the last 6 months, they did one collision avoidance maneuver every 30 seconds, so that's incredibly important.
