The funny thing is, a few weeks ago, I had a "status" feature on Twitter (beta testing), which was fun, and the ability to post a GIF, JPG, and video all in one post at the same time.

All that is gone, but businesses now have square avatars and gold check marks, so that's neat.

A poll tax is coming to Twitter. Only Elon fans can participate.

Also, we didn't vote on this change, but 🤷

Protip for the new mastodonians: don't obfuscate names or words - only hashtags work for search so you won't get troll bombed if you say Elon Musk.

Filters, however, work on anything, so those who don't want to see Elon Musk won't see this post.

But if you write El*n M*sk they WILL see it, and that might make them mad, so don't do it okay? Let people use their filters.

@jpwhiteside Yeah, that's how I feel, too. Telegram is a LOT of fun to use and constantly gets excellent updates. Teams for consumers .... eh. I don't see it ever as being a thing.

It will be interesting to see if MS integrates it (Teams Chat) into Start for its "super app," per The Information.

@mruszczyk Yeah, honestly this seems like the most important feature, at least for some orgs

I wonder if the app is going to get better. Do people who use this here still like Teams, or is it "I'm forced to by work," situation?

@gpollara Nope, but per the rules, you have to be a resident of the U.S., Canada, Mexico, or Puerto Rico. not sure if that applies to you, or not.
