Der FC St. Pauli hat am Sonntag den Bundesliga-Klassenerhalt so gut wie perfekt gemacht. Die Hamburger haben nach dem Unentschieden gegen Frankfurt drei Punkte Vorsprung auf den FCH - bei einer um 13 Treffer besseren Tordifferenz. Entsprechend groß war der Jubel. 🙂

Der FC St. Pauli hat am Sonntag den Bundesliga-Klassenerhalt so gut wie perfekt gemacht. Das Team von Trainer Alexander Blessin holte bei Champions-League-Aspirant Eintracht Frankfurt ein verdientes 2:2 (2:1) und kann nur noch theoretisch vom Tabellen-16. Heidenheim eingeholt werden.

What's up with SJ and #nighttrain #CrossBorderRail #Interrail ?? December 2024 #SJ took over the Narvik-Stockholm line from #VY. From one day to another the Interrail discount for own sleeping compartment disappeared, only the shared are discounted. At the same time, on Stockholm-Berlin, also SJ, the discount for own compartment is still there. Customer service said "At SJ you only get discount on shared compartments". Different rules for every night train within the one operator??

[4/4] To sum up, it seems like SJ threw together a random collection of ancient rolling stock from the second hand/leasing market to test how much people are willing to pay. It is awesome to be able to do a #CrossBorderRail #nighttrain trip from Narvik to Berlin with only a single change of trains. Kudos to SJ for trying. I absolutely love that. Now I want 2024 standard as well, not 1980.

[3/4] To my surprise, you can’t lock the cabin door from the outside, there are no keys. And there is only 1 power socket – ok for one person but if you are 3, then what? The neighboring toilet flush seems to go right through the cabin. On the bright side, the bed was wide and comfy, the seating comfortable and great for working.

[2/4] When the breakfast hadn’t arrived at 07:50 (ordered for 07:30) I went looking for it – in the wrong direction. Somewhere on the way we had lost half of the carriages, incl. the bistro. In the other direction I found a train attendant in a tiny compartment with thermos bottles on the floor who handed me my “breakfast”. And no, the Fritz Kola is not part of it, I paid for that.

[1/4] #nighttrain #CrossBorderRail Stockholm-Berlin #SJ the final stretch. Well, this was a mixed bag. First off: what is it with trains and showers? The door needs brute force to move, the few drops of water that dripped out of the hole in the ceiling were barely enough to get 1/4 of my body wet and were so cold I was shivering when I got out. Utter useless. If you advertise a shower as a cabin feature to justify the price tag, it has to be working. @sebwilken
