@joeycastillo Yup, was like that here too in Australia in the summer of 2019/2020. Was very creepy. A surreal experience. The pandemic was straight after that. Everything just felt surreal that year.

The problem with the RBA using interest rates to try to steer the economy away from a recession is that it's akin to a man trying to steer a car away from a cliff by fiddling with the volume knob. It's the folks with their hands actually on the steering wheel (government policy makers) who need to do the hard left turn.
