... but then for Greenland, becoming 'green', it is hardly any wonder given this level of violence or conservation.

Plant communities in the Arctic are changing along with the climate, study finds | CBC News

A recent study has found that climate change is altering Arctic plant composition, with some species declining in response to warmer temperatures, while others flourish. Researchers studied over 2,000 plant communities across the Canadian Arctic, Alaska, and Scandinavia over four decades.

So now all those destroyers of trees and hedgerows, the developers, builders, landowners and local authorities.... where are the 'police' on those cases?

My talk at #kubeconeu25 was just released! It's called "Asimov's Zeroth Law of Robotics: Observability for AI”. I use OpenTelemetry, OpenLIT, OpenAI, @grafana , Prometheus, Tempo, Loki, and k6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6EKTCAWtn8

I was super nervous about this one because when I sent the abstract in for the talk, I had never created an AI app, much less instrumented it. So this talk is more like the story of how I learned how to do all that than an expert's guide to doing it right.

Cory’s list of tech outside the US
Cory has a bigger list than I put together a few days ago.

To my US friends, I like you all and wish you the best but I have to say no to the government shit going on. Outside the attacks on my country, the US government is removing rights from it's citizens and that's not okay.

This is my 3653 blog post and just like Seth I'd write even if no one read it. I certainly don't write for the massive blogging money.

Ohh that's RICH on Instagram: "The resentment #maga republicans feel toward #federalworkers is misinformed and misguided.

When considering the balance of power in Congress and historical tax brackets, it’s clear #leftist policies built the middle-class prosperity we associate with the American dream, while conservative policies written by the #heritagefoundation and forced on us by #Reagan (and now #Trump) sparked increasing wealth inequality and national debt, which they paired with smear campaigns against the government and labor unions to ensure citizens wouldn’t place blame where it belonged: with billionaires. #DOGE #project2025"

Almost a year ago, Nicole (@nicole) shared a video called Learning in Public with PKM.

I really liked her idea: learning out loud, sharing what you learn as you go.

Since then, I’ve been getting ready to show up publicly too. I learned how to edit videos, studied SEO, practiced talking to the camera.

In April, I started posting videos. My only rule? I had to think they were actually useful.

Big thanks to Nicole. You inspired me to start creating in public.

@pink_doublethink @nicole similar experience discovering PKM through the lens of some great folks recently. A few super content creators made this possible - NVDH being one of them. Solid, friend. Thank you! ✌️💙
#amWriting From Tim Jackson, 'Post Growth' "Myth matters. Narratives sustain us. They create our thought-worlds and shape our social conversations. They legitimize political power and underwrite the social contract." This quote is my polestar. What I am trying to write is a post growth, post capitalist, myth, a narrative, a story.
I really appreciate this. Yes to learning more in public! You can't get good unless you get started.
