Still here, though sadly, Tigrou is no longer here
When we end-life fostered him we knew he had health problems, he just needed a human family to love him and keep going. FIV he managed but the lymphoma took him

In the summer we took his ashes to the town we think he lived in and scattered him there. Every creature deserves that final journey home

Spring is nearly springing

Spring is on the way. We had flocks of grue migrating northwards this afternoon
Meanwhile I industriously relaid the slabs at the foot of the steps to the south lawn and split a few logs from a felled tree

Note to self. Hire a log splitter

My significantly better than me partner in life celebrated a birthday yesterday.

@capnthommo @PGBeattie @Fife4Europe Many countries offer special residence visas for the rich, but not citizenship without a period of residency. where I live, France, requires 5 years of residency before applying for citizenship and typically 5 more years for the process to complete.

In addition the UK charges a fee to renounce citizenship (a nice little earner)
