Hey man, I don’t know if you need to hear this, but if you’ve gone #NoContact with toxic family members, I know that today can be especially difficult, bringing feelings of #guilt and #SelfDoubt, as well as pressure from others to re-expose yourself to #abuse because “we’re family, and it’s #Christmas.” I just want you to know that #holiday sentiments are only that, & don’t justify toxicity & abuse. Forgiveness may be divine but forgetting is for suckers. My heart goes out to you. You matter.

We're not in the future envisioned by 60s-70s Sci-Fi. I know this because we're not all wearing variations of matching unitards. Also, the types of dystopia often envisioned were all so much more gentle and innocent than what actually came to be.

I've known for 35 years #Trump was a piece of shit. For the last 10 years I've heard accusations that he's a serial #rapist. I've spent 25 years volunteering in #rape survivor advocacy, and I've heard countless horror stories from victims and survivors. I knew what he's been trying to cover up has got to be as bad as I could imagine. But I never imagined what I've read over the last 2 days. It's now dumping all over the web. For your own sanity, just be cautious about how much of it you read.
