Imma need someone to spell this one out for me
Sadly, majority of Midwest is corn & it’s not even corn to feed us.

I get that AI could be a useful tool, but the never ending list of issues surrounding said tool is tough for me to ignore especially when these tech companies are paying off the government to relax on AI & data center regulation. Surely it isn’t that good of a tool to be shoving down our throats. A town not too far from me succeeded in shutting down a data center deal but I know of plenty more that are allowing them to be built.

Lutris dev did respond by removing the co-author by Claude so nobody will know what part is AI code.

Nobara user here too. Glorious Eggroll was defending Lutris dev for using AI & the Nobara exclusive wallpapers right now are AI generated by GE.

I personally plan to distro hop after reading GE’s post. AI bubble can’t pop if these people are actively supporting and using them.

Lutris is AI slop now - tchncs

Lutris maintainer use AI generated code for some time now. The maintainer also removed the co-authorship of Claude, so no one knows which code was generated by AI. >Anyway, I was suspecting that this “issue” might come up so I’ve removed the Claude co-authorship from the commits a few days ago. So good luck figuring out what’s generated and what is not. sauce 1 [https://github.com/lutris/lutris/issues/6529] sauce 2 [https://github.com/lutris/lutris/discussions/6528]

I just want the tiniest hit. I don’t even want to do more than a 2mg edible unless I want to have anxiety.

Everything’s too damn potent & I have 0 tolerance. I’m trying to chill but instead I’ll just get a panic attack from hitting it too hard.

Dang that is nostalgia. I’d play!

Depends on your needs. Plenty of youtube videos lurking out there about switching to Linux. If you know how to install an OS then great! The biggest barriers are understanding the software you need & finding the alternatives that work on Linux. Your best bet is to just jump in & start researching.

I went with an easy pick up and use distro for gaming (Nobara). Not a power user & have been learning the quirks along the way. I’ve heard Linux Mint is easy to pick up and use.

I installed Fedora on a laptop for someone who only knows how to use a PC for work like browsing websites, printing stuff, joining zoom calls. They have had no trouble with it. However, I update it myself as I’ve read the documentation for that.
