Not looking for a fight; so don't @ me, just block me.
@evan
It makes me sad and nauseous trying to imagine the thinking of someone who would hold Joe Biden accountable for the lack of a ceasefire in Gaza. That seems pathologically stupid or delusional to me. It would be laughable if it weren't so dangerously toxic.

I always thought this was gonna have to be led by campus IT selling it to admin.
I think that it's still possible.
I think some academics would be grateful to know that they have a school backed portal to social media.

The good news is that it doesn't need to be dramatic in size to have dramatic electoral effects.
Another straw added the camel's back.

The bad news is that this is just more confirmation that one third of Americans are pathologically sick and/or stupid.

The choice is beyond obvious.
Voting a full Democratic ticket is a moral imperative; not just in 2024, but for many years to come.

@w7voa True regarding equivalence, but that doesn't mean it's undeserved. All war crimes aren't equal.

Kudos to those who haven't had "body aches, headache, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea" since 2021.
@theropologist
Well said and undeniably thoughtful.
FWIW, I disagree on three points.
I don't think eliminating Hamas is a morally bankrupt sentiment or inappropriate strategic objective.
I have a more strict definition of genocide, but it's the ICC's definition that matters.
Third, although Israel is far from blameless, the failure to move closer to a two-state solution since Oslo falls more on Hamas than anyone.
IMO, comparing the West Bank and Gaza speaks to all three.
@Lupposofi
Those were draft age Americans protesting the war their own country was fighting.
I don't see that in these protests.
These remind me of the confused and feckless performance art that was Occupy Wall Street and Defund the Police.
These "pro-Palestinian" campus protests feel a lot like Occupy Wall Street and Defund the Police to me.
