I'm looking to host a solution to collect and share reports about hazards in my areas roadway.
The way it would work is you share the location, the 311 ticket number, and other information tbd. People could also see the reports that have been posted.

The easy thought is a Google form that goes to a publicly shared spreadsheet... But if I wanted a lil more polish and self hosting are there software/frameworks that might work?

Inspired by a presentation today by Bike Law GA which noted that the city/county/contractor/etc. Can often be sued successfully for damages if you're injured due to hazardous conditions if they actually knew about the issue. (Or should have known but that gets dicier).

Excited to be at the new hackerspace grand opening @sandbox

@sam you might be into it. They have a focus on coop/open source tech too, with self hosted infrastructure

The most half assed thieves tried to steal my motorcycle yesterday apparently.
I live at the top of a hill. So after discovering it missing I decided to walk down the hill and see if I can't spot it.
3 buildings down, I spot the red fender sticking out in front of a dumpster it was hidden behind, where they also tried to drill through the ignition switch... and didn't get quite there.
Thankfully they didn't watch the 2 minute "how to hot wire a motorcycle" video I just did since the wires are very exposed.

Just emailed my mechanic (and their @bellsouth.net email) asking about their hours since they have no online presence.

If the repairs are cheaper than my deductible is there any reason to report it to insurance?

Discovered lots of new places and outfits this weekend. And despite spending almost 20h in hospitals I also went to my friends housewarming, a small wedding celebration, fixed my diy 1000w battery powered bike speaker, inventoried and assessed 10 bikes for the bike share I organize for alchemyburn... And finished reading a fanfic.

No clue how I did it.

Got to see some fun new places today.

I was spinning the sponge in the glass when it shattered. Very rude. I'm happier I broke that glasses twin last week by dropping my pan in the sink on top of it.

Literally just cleaning it and it shatters leaving me with a (minor) cut on my finger.
