this is how much meter this combo builds if you go for three fish instead of super. super is two bars.
this character yosei in duels of fortune is sick. he's a stance character that gets an entirely new movelist in sheathed/unsheathed stance. When sheathed, if you land his sword slash special at the very tip, you get a fish. The fish buffs all his special moves in unsheathed. Here's a link combo that builds all three fish (or gives you two fish->super, as seen here)
my brain problems told me I needed to put this somewhere so i can reference it later if i ever get into this conversation again
(for the record, sc3:ae would be somewhere between souledge and sc6. i've played it a little bit but not enough to really feel much for it other than it is better than the console version)
the uppercut is 5H, btw, and it's trivial to bail out to a reverse beat jab or just some other special on block.
I also really, really like the way charge is represented in the meter
Duels of Fortune, Master Locks BnB that ends in setplay Mid/Low mixup. Probably pretty easy to fuzzy but you can also do throw/demon flip/crossup j.B mixups here if you wanted. It's a hard knockdown. Go wild with Bear Akuma
probably worth mentioning throw also grants a combo in this game.
you can also cash out with super instead of going for hard knockdown by just doing another 2H into super. I just wanted to show the saw setup mostly
Indie games people are on the whole incredibly complacent and conflict-avoidant about this kind of thing because there's so little money and everyone is struggling and nobody wants to be a buzzkill, but none of that is an acceptable reason to give this shit a pass. The developer of Rimworld did an interview with Breitbart back in 2016 when the website still had a "BLACK CRIME" section and it didn't stop his game from becoming a steam bestseller. Fuck that and fuck this.
i wish i had the money to make the duels of fortune dev reconsider their stance on netcode
