Appreciate 18+ only :3
@gabrielesvelto ah, interesting. I guess it makes sense, i seem to remember the stability issues being fixed over a fairly long duration and in fact, (checking on wikipedia,) the instability is caused by (permanent) damage / rapid degradation to some particularly vulnerable component, so it would make sense that the older chips have the worst stability (especially those that saw use before the issue was widely reported & mitigations deployed).
(The raptor lake wikipedia article also mentions 14th gen using the same silicon steppings as 13th gen but I wouldn't know if that's relevant here (i.e. if this suggests it's purely an age / mitigations difference))
@cinebox this is "at least" because firefox doesn't support WebHID (or WebUSB, WebSerial) because of security (and privacy) concerns, see: https://mozilla.github.io/standards-positions
I wish there was a way to jump through extra hoops to force enable the functionality for very specific pages, (since they insist that a standard user consent prompt isn't sufficient as 'the average person' would click allow on anything a website tells them to), but oh well.

@soatok i did not know :0
1. i cant rly think of anything to test
1. but I always found it quirky that the numbering in markdown numbered bullets (or w/e) was automatic
1. so maybe I'll try doing all 1s and see if that's here too
