Instead of asking âwhy has our movement failedâ, we should ask, âwhy have we failed to build a movement that would succeed?â
#ClimateChangeChina is an easy target for #climatechange whataboutism but know when you blame #China youâre falling into the trap of #climate injustice, because while their carbon emissions have no doubt grown substantially in the last couple of decades they are, as of 2015 anyway, under their fair share per capita for emissions. Responsibility for climate breakdown falls squarely on the US, Europe, & rest of the Global North.
