Instead of asking “why has our movement failed”, we should ask, “why have we failed to build a movement that would succeed?” #ClimateChange

China is an easy target for #climatechange whataboutism but know when you blame #China you’re falling into the trap of #climate injustice, because while their carbon emissions have no doubt grown substantially in the last couple of decades they are, as of 2015 anyway, under their fair share per capita for emissions. Responsibility for climate breakdown falls squarely on the US, Europe, & rest of the Global North.
