I'm loving the earlier light.
What a fun wild bird morning! Blue Jays came for their daily peanuts, then I looked out and saw a Goldfinch picking sunflower seeds from a plant I left in the back of my yard, and a junco foraging the seeds that dropped in the snow! It was a juniper berry feast in my neighbors' yard with robins, flickers, waxwings, and a Cooper's Hawk stopped by briefly. I just had to share. I wish I had decent pictures, but this was my kitchen window view of the festival. *Birds not visible.😂
We had a snowy few days but the sun is out and the river was calling!
Scene from Dumpling Mountain at Katmai National Park, Alaska, today with Brooks River and Naknek Lake below. Brown bears were seen on the Falls cam yesterday. Thanks to Explore.org/bears.
#BearCamSunday, but not so silent, as the wind gusts were determined to blow every leaf off the trees and into the river.
#SilentSundayThere are a lot of
#bluejay antics out my kitchen window the last month or so. Much early morning entertainment for me. 😂

My only issue with autumn is I know what's coming - not enough light. Trying to soak in as much as I can on these gorgeous days!
