Does 'stuff', owns 'stuff', owns radios, owned by a cat, occasionally switches radios on. Doom spiral of house renovation.
He/Him
I scrounged a radio to experiment with, I was after a wreck that could be made to work but what turned up was a good, working and complete example that took very little effort to clean up into a too nice to screw up radio. Damnit.
Which, to clarify, I think is a brilliant decision.
Checks calendar, nope, not April 1st. Look Mum No Computer chosen as UK Eurovision entry!

The alternative, TFW to Piccadilly has modern, clean, comfortable carriages and is faster. But, ticketing is a mess of confusing options and trying to get a refund is rarely worth the bother.

I need to buy a car.

Northern rail replacement service to Manchester from Chester takes more than twice the time, costs twice as much as the service it replaces, the carriages are knackered, dirty, uncomfortable and always freezing cold or sweltering hot, explain to me again why public transport is so unpopular?
Clearing out a cupboard in the office and found two *brand new* connector crimping tools which retail for over £1K each, asked what I should do with them, "bin them"
(and yes, I know it's it's not legal to use on air 'as is' so it won't be. The next step is to swap out the LC7137 and get it on 10M)
Just for the sheer devilment of being able to say "told you I could" because someone told me "it's not possible", I've designed and am prototyping a cute little board to add SSB to a 27/81 CB chassis with a ROM locked PLL chip.
