@DrPsyBuffy Everything Walton Goggins brought to the role of Shane in The Shield he refined and finessed to a fine edge in Justified. The frenemy rivalry between Boyd and Raylan Givens is untoppable.
Now that Secret Invasion (Marvel/Disney+) has concluded its series run, it seems like an even more baffling, tread-milling exercise in futility and carnage. The jerky-jerky finale was like a bad ballet in a boiler room. Only Olivia Colman, delighting in her own delightfulness, shone. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury hauled himself around like a case of indigestion.
The MCU has a pervasive rundown feeling and I can't see the upcoming Marvels movie remedying that.

Marvel's Secret Invasion (Disney +) finally generated some action and excitement this week with the motorcade ambush but overall still seems lumbering and leaden--obligatory, as if no one really has their heart in it. Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury just seems to be lugging himself around and Emilia Clarke has been reduced to a standard Marvel brunette. Marvel may not be in unsalvageable decline but it's definitely lost its rhythm and mission. #SecretInvasion #Marvel #
