Tired and tested.
Data Engineer at big tech
Veteran-coming-back-to-save-the-day; this was basically Topgun Maverick but on the track. In a good way I mean. Good blend of drama and the sport elements without getting too technical. A bit non-sensical on the racing strategy side - ignore that and you get a well shot edge of the seat thriller. Actually made me feel the euphoria of a win!

The takeaway is that Robert Pattinson is an incredible actor with impressive range - and the movie gives him ample time to shine. Sci-fi itself? Not sure, the movie was more of a comedy than anything else but immensely enjoyable. I just wish they had dialed down the spoon feeding (but MAGA might need it, who knows) and edited it down a bit. Solid watch though! #mickey17

Arguably VS's cringiest film till date. Meandering script with ill-defined characters and save for a few funny moments, the onslaught of self-troll & meta references were honestly insufferable. Music was a failure. The melodrama didn't make me "feel good" and this movie was a test of my patience.

#Mastodon servers virtue signalling and blocking interoperability with #Threads is brain-dead af. Way to promote the Fediverse. Way to be inclusive.

If we're gonna put up stupid discriminatory ideological walls, this whole thing is doomed from the get go.

I mean, if working 70 hours a week actually tangibly benefited people, I have no doubt they'd do it 🤷🏽 Gig workers already do this.

But if you're paying 40-hr worth of wage for 70-hrs work, of course you're going to get pushback.

If team Oppenheimer thought they'd have it easy at the Academy next year, KOTFM just made it really, really tough for them.
It's wild what Scorsese and De Niro, both at the ripe age of 80, were able to achieve here! Di Caprio earning a best actor nomination is a given but I strongly believe De Niro should get one too - as lead - not supporting. This was very much his movie too 💯
You know that incredible awe you felt the first time you finished watching ThePrestige or Schindler'sList or TheDarkKnight? Felt that again today, at the end of a short 200+ mins of Scorsese's #KillersOfTheFlowerMoon! 10/10 cinematic perfection, truly a modern day masterpiece!
