Wikipedia is a problem for Musk/Trump. Not, as Musk says, because it's "woke." Because it's one of our last reliable tethers to a consensus reality. Therefore, an antidote to disinformation.

It's not making anyone money. It's not enshittified. Of course it's not perfect—it's an endeavor of imperfect cooperating humans. But it needs protection and support.

Here is a toot I made about them a few months back.

I went on a bicycle ride to the beach. Collected 11 disposable Ecigarettes that were laying by the roads.

Took a larger one apart and found it had a 400ma lithium pouch battery. No charging circuit and no battery protection circuit either. The wiring goes from the battery to the heating coil via a switch. Wonder how this is allowed to be sold?

I might find a use for the battery since it passed testing so I'll keep it for now.

The rest are going to be dropped off at Staples. Amazed that these are something that is apparently designed to be tossed after use.
