It can seem counterintuitive when rates have fallen so low and good opportunities are so scarce many of us are kind of scrabbling to survive, but one of the better things one can do as a freelancer is not hoard projects. It's good, sometimes, to feed one's colleagues and free oneself from the felt obligation to work on stuff one doesn't click with.
A second #introduction for a second server: I'm mostly a freelance editor of humanities scholarship & trade non-fiction. I sometimes write small literary things. In my off hours, I'm an unaffiliated scholar of #Victorian culture whose current project sits at the intersection of print culture, gender, and crime. I think (and occasionally rant) about the devaluation/casualization of editorial & other intellectual work. Here to support you & your projects.

Do a search for "MAGA", scroll a bit and just try to count the number of non-ironic pro-MAGA accounts there are in the first page or two of results

I don't think I'm being alarmist

But I do think that most instances would be inconsistent with their stated principles and policies if they federated with Tumblr
