@[email protected] @knightlie @thelinuxEXP Sorry, but youâre completely wrong. It does matter that some people criticize someone just because theyâre a woman. Theyâre not criticizing Mozilla, or Firefox. Thatâs not the conversation theyâre having. Thatâs what they SHOULD do, but thatâs not what theyâre doing.
Youâre the one bringing that into the conversation, itâs not what my post was about.
The amount of misogynistic comments on my latest video is just off the charts.
You can doubt the new CEO for her skills, her vision, experience, or the companies she worked at. But saying « another woman CEO, Mozilla is dead » is just⊠wow.
Itâs 2024, people. Seriously. WTF.
Meta is downranking/hiding political content on Threads. The company says Threads will ânot recommend any content/accounts that post about politics.â
Hereâs the issue: what counts as âpoliticsâ is often any news abt people who have had their whole existence politicized, such as news about Black people, LGBTQ people, disabled ppl, women, etc. Climate scientists, public health experts etc also considered âpoliticalâ https://www.axios.com/2024/02/09/meta-political-content-moderation-threads
