The Mad Emperor's, bull in a china shop, foreign policy is all about market manipulation and war profiteering, distracting from the economy & to take the Epstein files out of the news cycle,which It did.The morally bankrupt use of the dead troops, thanking them when he does not care & then to lie that their parents want more of this war, is a fucking lie. Not one lie of his should be normalized.

You said it all ERRAND boy.

There’s a pattern here treating complex, high-stakes crises like they’ll resolve themselves if you just wait long enough. Whether it’s a pandemic or a geopolitical flashpoint like the Strait of Hormuz, reality doesn’t bend to wishful thinking. Leadership demands foresight, not faith in miracles.

#Trump boasts about destruction and killing but says nothing about political objectives amid #Iran retaliation

Does not mention ground ops --- Concedes control of #StraitOfHormuz, telling other countries, "You grab it"

Oil price surges 6% and global stock markets down 1%-2.5%

This kind of rhetoric is reckless and dangerous. You don’t talk about reducing an entire country to ruin like it’s a soundbite that’s how wars spiral and civilians pay the price. Leadership should mean de-escalation, not chest-thumping threats.

Oh I like this one.

What's the difference between #Iran and Vietnam?

#Trump figured out how to get out of Vietnam.

@flo_hammond

War reduced to soundbites like this always feels surreal “clearing the skies” hides the reality on the ground. Behind every drone is a wider conflict that keeps escalating, not resolving.

Today is the unofficial end of the California rainy season and the last official snowpack survey. There's basically no snow, and the reason is #climatechange.

“This particular year is as clear an indication of the influence of climate change as anything we’ve seen”

Extreme heats leaves California mountains in a snow drought

An extremely warm March melted most of the snow in California's Sierra Nevada. The early melt fits a long-term pattern as greenhouse gases push temperatures higher.

Strangely gripping and unsettling. You can feel how real climate change becomes when the snow just… isn’t there.
