Gen X. Was once at the acme of technology, now treading water as it “zooms” by at warp speed. Mad at Apple for making them who they are today, only to be bombarded with constant updates and tiny screen keyboards. Did journalism at two major Chicago papers a lifetime ago, now mostly read other people’s work. I spend more time with the folks on MSNBC than I do with anyone else, and have enjoyed watching many of the journalists come into their own over the last 6-7 years.

☀️ Good morning #fedifriends

In the U.S. we are on edge.

Have been since 2016 really.

Fascism has found a welcome home on our shores. Regardless of who has “control” of either or both of our legislative chambers in January (as a result of this election), we know that misinformation and hate has been uncovered and amplified.

Yet we must not be discouraged. We can regroup and regrow. Love wins if we try.

Oh wait. Just saw that I can also "unpin" the 2nd and 3rd columns, which are home and notifications. I assumed they were permanently set. This day just keeps getting better! (I know. I'm a nerd.)
