Call me stupid, but I don't get why sites are allowed to duck around privacy laws by plastering messages about seeking consent all over their landing pages that you have to click "I agree" to in order to progress.
Let it be a simple "We're going to sell your data. If you don't agree, fuck off" choice.
I'd rather that than read screeds of self-serving bullshit.
