Its THE reason why I switched from Transmission to qBittorrent - it allows to use Search Plugins (also described in the article) and it even allows to Update them in one click :)
I am both fully satisfied with current qBittorrent solution I use and I do not have much free time - so while I support Your initiative by heart - I do not have much time to that I could really put into this ...
