@khmarbaise @trisha_gee @foojay in our case it is a monolith , even though we have automated tests, because of the application complexity it is hard to be 100% sure. Product management prefers a cautious approach when it comes to major releases.
@khmarbaise @trisha_gee @foojay if there are 100+ devs working on the same codebase you will have to rebase frequently befor you can push your commit. Also it can get tricky if the feature introduces a regression and if you have to rollback the entire feature before the product release.

@foojay @trisha_gee when you say trunk based development does that mean the devs will work on the main branch on their local machine and push it when the work is done?
@omniprof @seekingbinary join() is useful in cases where the main thread wants to get other threads to perform computation in parallel and only want to proceed once all the threads have finished their execution. It acts more like an orchestrator.
