Header: sunlight cloud reflection on a lake’s surface.
Avatar: my face, in my hippie glasses from 1969.
It was a Maxfield Parrish sort of sky tonight.
The road home tonight. When the late afternoon light gets like this, it means that Spring is coming!
Good morning. The lake was singing as the sun rose.
Solstice time and I got up at 2:50 AM to watch the live stream of the sun rising at Stonehenge. The Michigan curse struck again. Here, where I live, it is guaranteed that when there is any interesting astronomical event, the skies will be occluded by clouds. Evidently the curse travels as it was a grey morning in Amesbury as well. (Of course, it is England) I woke again to walk down to the edge of the local lake to watch the sunrise here. Again, grey skies, but I could see the sun’s reflection.
